HYALURONIC ACID

Hyaluronic Acid (sometimes called "HA") is a naturally occurring acid found in human skin with high water retention properties, meaning it contributes to hydration and skin plumpness. The bad news: HA decreases with age, leaving us with fine lines and sagging skin. The good news: it's easily supplemented in a serum.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
HA naturally retains moisture, leaving skin fresh, plump and stable. It encourages skin cell renewal and promotes collagen production. Its antioxidant properties may protect against the environment, sun exposure and harsh chemicals, while anti-inflammatory properties may aid in healing and soothing skin irritations. It’s a pretty incredible component to our skin that you can never really get enough of.
WHO CAN USE IT?
Because it occurs naturally in the body, Hyaluronic Acid is safe for everyone and can benefit all skin types. It is lightweight enough for oily and combination skin; deeply hydrating for dry and mature skin; and calming and protective for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
HIPEPTIDE™
WHAT IS IT?
Hipeptide™ is our proprietary compound made from Hibiscus extract. Hipeptide™ is an oligopeptide, which means it consists of up to 20 peptides.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Hibiscus firms and lifts skin by inhibiting the activity of elastase, the enzyme that breaks down our skin’s precious elastin. It also combats the appearance of hyperpigmentation and age spots. The high mucilage content of Hibiscus increases the skin’s ability to retain moisture, resulting in soft, supple skin. (Mucilage is a sticky substance produced by plants to store water).
Hipeptide™ also contains anthocyanocides, which are flavonoids found in a number of fruits and plants. These little beauties are antioxidant, which means they fight free radicals (like ultraviolet radiation and traffic pollution); astringent, which results in smaller pores and a smoother complexion; and anti-inflammatory, which is soothing for sensitive skin types

WHAT IS IT?
Copper occurs naturally in the human body (between 1.4 and 2.1mg per kilogram of body weight) and is essential for proper functioning of organs and metabolic processes. It has been used for centuries across the planet for remedial and medicinal purposes. Colloidal Copper (microscopic particles of copper suspended in purified water) is used in Liar Wrinkle Cheater™.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Copper peptides are regularly used in healing products for post-surgery and procedures such as laser resurfacing, dermabrasion and chemical peels as its ability to stimulate tissue regeneration is well known. What is ironic is that Colloidal Copper used on its own can have many of the same effects without the invasive procedure or chemical reaction.
